Construction Photo Journal
This old building was a shabby retail space when we found it. A local man, Donald (who frequently bikes up Main Street), told us that it was once the Central post office. We got the keys in July 2005 and began demolition and repairs.

We did most of the work ourselves, to save money and insure quality. We were the architect, the general contractor, and the interior designer. We were also the carpenters, drywallers, painters, masons & tilesetters. This arrangement made us slightly insane, but it was worth it.
